I'm remaining hopeful that we'll find a lighter shade of the green, similar to what's in the new rug to replace the heavier tapestry curtains. I would also like to mimic the soft curve in the sofa for a more feminine appearance.

The Hickory paneling isn't new --- we installed it approx. 8 years ago to break up the box. This is one half of our living room, a 11'6" x 30 foot rectangle with 3 doorways. My solution was to break up the room into two separte spaces and this is one half of it. The paneling is something I have a love/hate relationship with, LOL! Some days, I could rip it down and other days, I desire to stain it darker. I'm not normally a fan of accent walls except when used in a monochromatic color schemes.Cathyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14113024015348687468noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9863471.post-14236134155464182372008-03-14T17:58:00.000-05:002008-03-14T17:58:00.000-05:00Hi, Such pretty colors in your room but I think y...Hi,

Such pretty colors in your room but I think your tables are a little too close and I would hang the curtains higher above the window. Is the paneling new, I think it's so 70's

Just a little tweaking here and there, you have such pretty pieces.

SusieAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
