Even with the best intentions to make it out to the studio this afternoon, I still didn't manage to make it. Chaos decided he really needed some of my time, as well as, my dd who stopped in unanounced. Oh well, tomorrow's another day, right?
Chaos and I had a blast playing ball; okay, in all honesty, Chaos enjoyed himself immensely while I got used for a drooling cloth, LOL! We played and romped for a bit before coming back inside to get a bit of relief from the heat. I sat down on the couch with a cold bottle of water to cool off with and the next thing I knew I'd fallen asleep about an hour. I awoke just in time to get some supper going before Don returned home from working. After cleaning up from supper, we made a quick run to WalMart for some last minute household necessities, and I've been resting ever since.... just taking it easy.
I did look over a couple calls that interested me in creating something for them and I made some notes on my design and determined what stamps I'd like to utilize before answering several emails, checking in with a few groups, and 2P's.
Tomorrow, Amber is coming over and I will go back with her to her home for awhile to visit with her and Alexxis. I'm hoping to make it out to the studio early in the a.m. prior to going since I've got the feeling since I slept this afternoon for a bit, I'll be awake early. I set some clothes out to wear into the studio in the nursery so I wouldn't disturb Don too much as I get dressed, up and about.
On Wednesday, I believe a trip to Office Depot is in order. I want to do some inquirying as to the costs and services offered on printing up the brochures and business cards and in the amounts needed/desired. It appears it is supposed to rain on Wednesday so I'm certain Don will help me with some housework, catching up from the past several days, and I can have the next three days to focus, focus, focus........ with a few breaks in between.
