I just finished up using MS Office Publisher to create and design me a tri-fold brochure to advertise Partly Paper, Paper Arts Studio and I have to create an entirely new business card. Unfortunately, my old ones have my previous address on them rendering them completely useless to me currently.
While taking a quick break, I brainstormed on artwork that I've previously created that would be perfect for a display of my artwork within Rita's salon. She has a passion for anything french, from antique furniture, to eiffel towers, etc. so a lot of what I've created will fit perfectly in with her salon decor. The artwork that I display there, I am hopeful will reflect the classes I am planning to offer within my studio and I may just have to sit down and create some new things to fit the decor for samples only. However, I figured while I am creating I may as well work assembly line fashion and throw some things in to sell along with them, in the event that we agree on a contract of course. If anything should fall through, I'll still have them to sell in Don's store or even online for that matter. I really do not desire to make a lot of $$$ creating items for sale but I am more hopeful to drum up some advertising for my classes. If all goes well I may even try to host a retreat somewhere in the next coming year.
Well, there is definately more work that I should be doing, so I'm off to grab a quick bite to eat before heading out to the studio to begin setting up my office area. I'll definately need this area completed now more than ever!
