Good Morning.....

I slept in a bit later than my usual awaking time once again. Don assisted with that by putting Chaos outside and turning off the telephone so it wouldn't disturb me. How thoughtful!

Anyways, my agenda for the day is to work once again on the studio remodeling. I can see it beginning to come to come together as I am working to sort and separate a lot of my supplies then grouping similar and like things together.

I saved my spaghetti sauce cans from the other evenings dinner thinking I'd use them for separating my colored pencils by color but after trying a few inside the cans yesterday, I believe I'd prefer a shorter can so that I can see more of the pencil colors. I'm thinking a veggie can will work the best since it is a bit bigger than a soup can and I will be able to obtain them quicker since I purchased some on sale for a big pot of veggie soup to be made soon. We tend to prefer frozen veggies over canned ones normally however I like to keep a few cans on hand for a quick grab and go style of dinner. Anyways, my point of mentioning them is that I'd love to have them sorted by colors and see them better visually. While helping Patty move last weekend, she returned a smaller bookcase with open shelves back to me after no longer having a need for it. It originally came out of my studio from beside my journaling and stamping table, so I'm putting it back there and establishing that for my writing supplies. I didn't realize just how much I missed it and being able to have all those things at my fingertips, so I fully intend to remedy that.

Some other supplies will be stored away that are a bit less often used while other supplies like my Sizzix towers, filled with dies/alphabets, ect. and the machine itself are returned to the countertop along the shelving wall. Hopefully, this will assist with me and visitor's to the studio utilizing it more.

There are various other areas of the studio that I need to address, such as establishing a magazine resource area, organizing the bookbinding cabinet better, and setting up my office area better but for today, I won't bore you with those details, LOL! I still have some sorting and organizing to do to make this area but I'm thinking I'm going to jump in and get started creating artwork on Monday. What ever isn't completed by then, I'll work on here and there. I'm missing getting my hands inky! {*grin}
