Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is also my 44th birthday. I'm not exactly sure where the time has gone and how exactly I reached this point in my life... it surely didn't seem to take anytime to get here, LOL! Oh, well, they say you are as young as you feel....... so I guess that would put at right about 29! {Hey, you cannot blame a girl for trying!}

Don & I have no special plans for this evening, at least none that I am aware of. He took me out shopping yesterday..... where I purchased a new pair of blue jeans, T-shirt, and a sweater. Then, we went to Carrabba's Italian Grill. Can you say, "Yummy?" Our food was delicious! We started with iced tea, fresh bread with virgin olive oil, minced onion and garlic, and fresh, crisp, cold salads. I tried the most amazing spaghetti and meatballs, while Don dined on lasagna. Needless to say, I required a To-Go box to bring about 1/2 of my portion along with some fresh bread home. It think Don has a hole somewhere that engulfed all his food, LOL! I don't know where he put it all. The serving portions were enorous!

I haven't created anymore artwork since finishing up Magic and Moonbeams, although Chris and I are planning to get together again on Friday. I look forward to seeing her completed Tag Book, I tell you what she has done with it is simply amazing. I haven't joined into anymore swaps; I'm trying to keep them at a minimum of one every month or every other month so that I can send out a few more RAK's to online friends and group members. I definately need to get some, "Thank you" cards made once agian, I noticed my stash is running really low and I needed to send a pre-printed one out early last week. As much as I love going out into the studio, there's times I wish I had some artwork I could sit and work on in the house while watching TV. Maybe I should stamp some images that I could color with colored pencils in here.......

I haven't written in my journal in some time now.... maybe I will take it with me when go to McConnell on Wednesday. I will definately need something to help pass the time spent waiting on the procedure to be performed and while Don is recovering. Maybe I should pack a small baggie of supplies to tuck in with my jammies, a change of clothes for each of us, and personal care products. I could get some writing and some sketches made if nothing else.

My Valentine Mingle ATC was "published" in Suzanne's ByHand newsletter. It can be viewed here:
