While Don worked yesterday I stamped out 12 of the Holly Berry House Little Bird images, colored them with my Lyra watercolors, and managed to cut them all out. I began working on glittering them and got 4 of the 12 completed. When he returned home we set out for the P.O. I got the 2 art idea journals postal to Vicky in MI and Lianna's ATC in the mail to her as well. All in all, it was a productive day but allowed me some time to relax!

After dinner, I stopped over at Amber and Chris's, spent a little bit of time with her and Alexxis. Alexxis had been awake most of the day and wouldn't you know it, she fell asleep in Grammie's arms. What a sweetie! The only thing sweeter than watching a sleeping baby is holding one. I could sit for hours holding her but not desiring to get a new habit started, I gently placed her within her boppy. I love how she smiles in her sleep.

Last night, we had a bit of an adventure. Don went out into the back yard and Chaos was at the back door having a fit because he was inside. I tell you, Chaos is something else! I've never seen a dog so nosy in all my life. Anyways, in all of his puppy excitement, jumping around, desiring to be outside, he managed to jump up and hit the door knob on the screen door just right and away he went. Luckily, we have an acre, Shawn has an acre, and the church next to him has an acre so he had plenty of land to run in. My worst fear was the road. He simply doesn't understand the dangers that await him there. After Chaos ran all over the 3 acres, Shawn was able to walk right up to as Chaos stopped dead in his tracks and waited for Shawn to get to him. What a relief! Needless to say, Chaos was punished and Don got "a lecture" about putting the dog on his lead and letting him go outside with him. I'm just thankful that our adventure wasn't anymore dramatic than that!
