Collecting my thoughts...

I have received Lianne's deco this week and Vicki's Art Idea Journal yesterday, so I am intending to focus my attention to creating in both of them in the mid-week--- after the Holiday weekend.

Working on them in between household chores, laundry, and shopping will allow me to pace myself just a bit. My back is doing better this morning but late last night I was feeling it once again. I suppose as the day worn on and my muscles are adjusting to being back in a normal position once again. I'll definately be seeing Gary again sometime this week so I can continue to heal. Unfortunately, that also means no taking care of Alexxis this week. I'll have to visit with her and sneak in just a few snuggles, although I'm not certain that is such a good idea either as she is simply irresistable! How can I not desire to hold her, carry her around, toss her in the air softly just to see the adorable expressions on her face and hear her laughter?

I have the Variety Collage Swap to gather a few thing up for as of yet. I've made a list of some supplies that I have an abundance of that I can include in the packages. These do not require mailing until the 14th of the month, however, I am thinking I'd like to finish up and mail them out earlier ---- making one trip to mail Lianne's deco, Vicki's journal, and this swap out all at the same time is the game plan.

I also am desiring to create some links of my gratitude garland this week. Yeppers! I'm feeling guilty about not adding to it in the last two weeks, even though it it is my own personal project.

I haven't made any plans for the Labor Day weekend. No cookouts, no visiting with anyone, no parties to attend.... so I'm uncertain what Don and I will do to celebrate the holiday. I'm thinking maybe a small cookout with just us on Monday and possibly a trip to Sunbury. Every year they host an Ox Roast and the retail stores surrounding the square have an annual sidewalk sale. Vendors and craftsman set up for a major yard sale where lots of old photographs, ephermera, old magazines, etc. can be found along with some antiques, etc. I'm thinking I'd love to go and purchase some things --- who knows what I may find to add to the collage packages, as well. {This just reminded me that I could go and have some photocopies made of items I have for the packages, too.}

I placed an online stamp order today from http://www.stampdiva.com I absolutely adore Susan's webstore and the product lines she carries. Unfortunately, I must have been on the same wavelength of a wide variety of other rubber stampers as a lot of the images I desired off of my growning wishlist were out of stock. However, I can assure you that I had no problem filling up that shopping cart! I did leave some room in my self-imposed budget for the month to purchase a few other items that I desire... books, magazines, and some shopping elsewhere. I know that I am crazily addicted and I should use what I already have --- but this hobby is like Alexxis --- irresistable!!!! In all honesty, the only problem I have is not enough time and not creating fast enough, LOL! If only I could create the all that my heart desires.... but then, what would I have to look forward to?
