I talked with Don last night and we discussed all the options available to us. He is in agreement with me regarding hanging the slatwall. I am leaning more towards covering the entire wall and then adding a piece of my Tina Chaden artwork and a large canvas for my personal use of creating a collage one and displaying some of my favorite artwork received from friends over the past several years. As I think about the possibilities, I am excited about this adventure and am actually happy that it won't be taking place right away as it provides me time to consider all the little details.
In the meantime, I will be continuing with re-organizing my supplies. There are several supplies that I need to address to make them more functional for me and now that I won't be completely re-organizing my stamp cabinet and bookcase shelves, I can utilize those in some other way. I have some ideas in mind, just need to get them jotted down on paper so I won't forget them later. (I'm certain that I am not the only one who actually NEEDS to do this!!! LOL!)
I'll be heading out to the studio in just a few short hours to continue working. It is nice walking in there and seeing the progress that I am making, even in the little spurts of time spent here and there. It still an accomplishment! Something that wasn't being addressed before because I attempted to do it all in one fell swoop that never happened. Can you believe that while I was in there recently, I even considered changing my paint color on the walls. Now, that idea is really crazy! If you could see the space in all its glory, you'd understand! All I am going to say, is I will NOT be tackling that project anytime soon. I'm taking one step at a time!
