Reading the responses to Mary's deco today, I felt the need to add a comment here. No, I'm not battling cancer or undergoing chemotherapy myself. Don, however, is a 7-8 year cancer-survivor, having lost one of his kidneys to this devastating disease. I cannot name one person's name whose life hasn't been touched in someway by cancer. I believe the emotions I experienced while working in this deco stem from the recent hospitalization of my best friend's Sheila's mother, Helen, who was left blind as a result of the chemotherapy she received. Unfortunately, she is losing her battle with this dreadful disease.
