The Museum of Appalachia...

As we left Pigeon Forge, early on Monday morning, the skies were cloudy and threatening to rain, but as the day progressed the skies cleared, and it was absolutely beautiful as we travelled north in Tennessee, heading back towards Kentucky. Once back on I-75N, we began seeing signs for the Museum of Appalachia so we decided to go check it out.

The entrance sign as we pulled onto the property,
featured beautiful county scenes that took us back in time...

Like this rustic log cabin...

Grist Mill...

a working farm...

and the Gift Shop.
Come on.... let's go look around!

Thanks so much for your nice comments regaring the Museum of Appalachia.
We are actually in Tennessee at the Clinton/Norris exit just about 16 miles north of Knoxville. We are about 30 or so miles south of the Kentucky line.
Come back and see us soon!
