This morning...

It is a bit foggy here in the Ohio valley this a.m. but then that isn't too uncommon this time of year especially when your awake before the sun arises, LOL! I woke up feeling very refreshed and rested. The soreness I felt from walking and climbing yesterday is gone, thanks to my quick thinking and taking a few advil before retiring late last night. Poor Don, is exhausted and still sleeping; until Chaos chooses his next battle round with me.

I've put Chaos out several times and he isn't wanting out so he barks. Even offering puppy treats is no consolation prize but he accepted them and managed to drag them into the living room before trying to hide them under the chair. He cracks me up with the hiding thing, like I'd want the darn things anyways! LOL! Finally, he took his *sorry* butt back to bed! Now the house is peaceful and quiet! I love it!

I did some browsing online already..... offer to do another one on one ATC swap making it a total of 2 now. I checked 2P's for a moment before clicking a link and then discovering that there was a stamp store in Maumee, Ohio called The Elegant Stamp. Wish I had known that yesterday! LOL!

My mind has been on a page of sketching that I created the other night when I couldn't for the life of me get to sleep. I got up and sat on the couch, sketching my heart out. When I reached for another piece of paper and a fresh slate, I didn't know what to sketch by I began by sketching a single rose which jarred my memory of a story line that I've desiring to create and use in a handmade book. As I worked on that sketch, the story seemed to come together so I wrote on the page the words that I felt went with the images, and I remember some rubberstamps that inspired me with the idea in the first place. Now, I want to think about the story a bit more, it is purely fictional, and do some more writing, sketching, and rubber stamping for it but for now, I am allowing the ideas to brew some more. I'm thinking that I'd like to use the computer to type the story on pages yet allow room for sketching and stamping in. Since I'd like to coptic bind the book, I may try to play with a variety of software so that I can have two facing pages and maybe I'll half to adhere the pages back to back or use those areas for more illustration after its bound. But either way, I'm looking forward to continuing to work on it as the idea has been in my mind for some time and its an ongoing process. Definately one, I don't desire to rush. I'll have to remember to share it when it is finished; in the meantime, I may add some more sketches of the brainstorming session here.
