I received one of my recent online orders today! My unmounted flourish images from Michelle at Purple Onion Design arrived. I spent time ohhhing and awwing before settling in to trim them and stamps 4 pages in my unmounted index. Not all the images were Michelle's --- some from several different companies that somehow never made it into my unmounted rubber index. I didn't make it into the studio today -- other than grab my acrylic blocks, but my heart was there! At least I did manage to do something creative today!
I also signed up for a Lace ATC exchange today with a wonderful group of stamping friends who I've been trading Artist's Trading Cards with for years. The ATC's must
incorporate Lace on the cards somewhere. It can be real lace, lace printed paper, stamped lace or even a 'laced up' section on the ATC using boot laces, cord, or string. One of the aspects that I really like about this group is we've been doing quite a few 9 for 9 swaps, so when you receive your set of ATC's back, you've gotta full sleeve for your binder! Gotta love that! Not to mention, it builds your collection up!
I didn't work on any new cards today; however, I did go through another list and another group that I'd like to send birthday cards to and added those names to my lists. I, also, looked at some of the previous page maps archives and discovered some cards that won't take me too awful long to create yet will look fabulous once completed. To save a bit of time, I'm making several of each design, that just seems a bit easier to whip out more than trying to create them one at a time!
